About This Project

Jesuits of Upper Canada

Location: Toronto
Project Value: $1.2 M
Owner: Jesuits of Upper Canada
Completion Date: December 2008
Consultant: Larkin Architects Limited

This 10,000 sq ft, historically-designated, building was renovated to act as the new administration headquarters for the Jesuits of Upper Canada. Initially the project was undertaken as a stipulated price contract with a light budget and demanding schedule. Dynamic project conditions later dictated that the project delivery be changed to a cost/build arrangement to accommodate client changes and to maintain schedule. D.J. McRae met the challenges and completed the project on time. Scope of work included; drywall, acoustic ceilings, extensive electrical and mechanical retrofit, windows, roofing and copper flashings, exterior painting and wood fascia restoration, new interior finishes and millwork.
